This boat, located in the middle of a rotunda at the end of the Restinga de Lobito, carried in November 1961 the current President of the Republic, José Eduardo dos Santos, from Luanda to the neighbouring Congo where he joined the patriots who fought for the independence of the country. This cultural-historical monument now serves as a library.
