János Árvay received his first vines as a wedding present. After a distinguished career with Disznókő, he returned in 2009 to create, with his family, a 17-hectare estate on exceptional volcanic terroirs. The Árvay estate offers tastings by appointment, with 6, 8 or 14 wines, from bubbles to the mythical Aszú. In summer, these are held on the veranda or in the small family cellar. Angelika and Szabolcs, his children, produce their own cuvées. In 2003, János was elected Winemaker of the Year. Smiling welcome and interesting tour.
