Homonna is a family-run winery run by Attila Homonna since 1999. On around 4 hectares of old Furmint and Hárslevelű vines, he practises respectful, herbicide-free viticulture, favoring controlled yields. The grapes are harvested by hand, and the wine is made naturally, with spontaneous fermentation in old barrels and long aging. The wines are precise, mineral and reflect the identity of the terroir. A small production (3,000 to 5,000 bottles a year), Homonna focuses on quality and authenticity.
