THE BIG ROCKING HORSE & THE TOY FACTORY

At the entrance to this wooden toy factory stands an enormous rocking horse, 18 metres high and weighing 25 tonnes, designed by David McIntosh. It is part of a larger complex that includes a wooden toy factory, a wildlife park and a café owned by the Wilkinson family since the early 1970s. Although the complex was sold in 2004 and again in 2009, it continues to operate today. The factory can be visited by prior arrangement. Store.
