At 710 meters above sea level, Mount Lofty is a must for panoramic views over Adelaide and the surrounding area to the ocean. There's an information center and gift store selling local products and tourist guides. The Summit Café offers modern Australian cuisine with local produce, to be enjoyed while admiring the view from the bay windows or terrace. Several hiking trails start from Mount Lofty, including one to the summit. Access to the site is free, but parking is available at a charge.
