Small museum on the Bowdoin College campus with photos, Inuit art and some stuffed animals
This small museum is located on the campus of Bowdoin College, one of the oldest universities in the country (founded in 1794), whose students included Nathaniel Hawthorne and Henry Longfellow. It is dedicated to the work of two Arctic explorers who studied at Bowdoin. It features photos and excerpts from their logbooks, relating fifty years of exploration. It also features Inuit artwork and some stuffed animals.
