CHEMBE EAGLES NEST
Built in 2005 on the edge of Cape Maclear beach and at the foot of the steep hillside that borders the village to the northeast, Eagles Nest has undeniable assets: eleven equipped chalets offering a view of the lake, a pleasant bar camped near a room, embellished by paintings representing scenes of African life, in which sports events are broadcast, a fauna (cormorants, monkeys....) enjoying the bellissimo setting and easily observable and, last but not least, the organization of various activities (fishing, sailing...). A beautiful address. Persons outside the establishment wishing to enjoy its private beach and swimming pool (probably out of the ground at the time of publication of this guide) will have to pay 2,000 MWK to enter the enclosure.
