The apartments of the Prince's Palace open their doors for an exceptional visit of this castle built in the 13th century.
Temporary exhibitions, exceptional frescoes from the late Renaissance, refurbished Grand Apartments... For the curiosity and joy of visitors, it is a real artistic whirlwind! After walking under the vaults of the Gallery of Hercules, you will discover the marvelous frescoes of the Chamber of Europe, the shimmering tones of the majestic Throne Room, sumptuous salons and living rooms that faithfully reflect the tastes and passions of the Grimaldi dynasty. Don't forget to watch the changing of the guard, every day at 11:55 am on the Place du Palais!

We loved the marching Guard and the one who stood guard in his little hut.
Being a working palace, in many ways it reminded us of Windsor Castle.
The walk up the hill is pleasant and you should stroll through the Princess Grace gardens and see the church where she is buried.
