Discovery trail leading to the nature reserve of Hajdučki and Rožanski ridges. Panoramic view of the mountainous coast.

This is one of the most popular trails in the national park. It was laid out in 1930 by the forestry engineer Ante Premužić, the first to explore it. From Zavižan near Senj (Lika-Senj), from point A to point B, the 15 km long trail passes through forests, meadows and past the entrance to the botanical garden. The wider Zavižan area, with the Rožanski and Hajdučki kukovi peaks, is one of the most beautiful mountainous areas in Croatia. Between these peaks, deep funnels have been carved out, opening up a magnificent sea view.
