GREAT SMOKY ARTS & CRAFTS COMMUNITY
Since 1937, Gatlinburg has been home to a strong community of artists and craftspeople. Growing in number over time (over 120 today), these artists and craftspeople are based in the eastern part of town. It's easy to visit them by following the Heritage Arts & Crafts Trail. The logo displayed on the stores (Member Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community) assures you of the quality of the products on offer. The trail is approximately 8 miles (12.8 km) long. It starts in Downtown on East Parkway (Hwy 321), runs along Glades Road to Buckhorn Road, then returns and ends on East Parkway. The circuit is served by the Fun Time Trolley (Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge-Sevierville).
