L'AUBERGE

We spend pleasant moments in this beautifully flowered farmhouse, originally set up for coffee workers and now also for tourists. Wooden beds, foam mattresses, shower and toilets on the floor of the rooms and on the ground floor (dormitories). The structure is entirely traditional and construite built by Don Ramón, a true pioneer, owner of the places and will gladly accompany you to the guitar in the evening. On-site meals are rich, simple and traditional, with fresh products from the surrounding area and the farm, and are usually served by will. We can ask in advance for the preparation of some dishes such as the soup of tails of beef, warmly recommended by those who have tasted it, as well as the traditional soup of almondigas (vegetable soup with corn balls, chicken meat, and seasoned with spices including coriander).

You are offered a whole series of walks and visits accompanied by: " Oro Tour " (complete tour 4 to 5 hours, 8 US $/person, 2 minimum people) to discover the gold extraction process, the visit of an active traditional mine as well as the meeting of minors, the visit of a co-operative and a mineral mill, to finish at a local manufacturer of gold jewellery; or "Cafe Tour" (2 to 3 hours, US $ 5/person): visit accompanied by planting to your cup of coffee smell, passing through homemade roast… A lot of practical work in perspective! Can also visit traditional cattle breeding.
