Located 10 minutes from Awarradam by pirogue, Peti is a lovely place to relax opposite the jumps, where the water is deep enough for swimming, even in the dry season. A few families live here, and you'll have the chance to observe the habits of the locals along the river. At the METS carbet, you can set up hammocks and picnic by the water's edge. Numerous blue-billed herons(Pilherodius pileatus) to watch. Enjoy a natural massage offered by the current, or drift back to the lodge (with a life jacket).
