Guided tour to discover a small coffee farm and the traditional machine used to crush the sugar cane
The guided tour lasts 1 hour 45 minutes (approx. 1 km): you'll discover a small coffee farm, and then take a step back in time with a presentation of the trapiche, the traditional machine for crushing sugar cane that was powered by oxen. In an authentic workshop, the guide explains how sugar is made in the old-fashioned way. At the end of the tour, enjoy a delicious coffee. Beforehand, you'll also have had a look at the plantations of coffee, plantain bananas, oranges and more. An interesting visit, often led by passionate guides.
