The Barthel Estate is one of the highest in Alsace with an altitude of about 500 meters, hence its classification as a "mountain vineyard"! Located on 11 hectares of schistous slopes (unique in Alsace), the vines benefit from an exceptional amount of sunshine. The specialty of the house is the pinot noir, declined in delicious vintages: Pinot Noir Rosé, Clos du Sonnenbach, Vieilles Vignes, Cuvée René. The domain also produces excellent white wines and crémants of Alsace.

Opening time and information on DOMAINE CHRISTIAN BARTHEL

Independent winegrower. Open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 12pm and from 4pm to 6pm; Saturday from 10am to 12pm. In summer, open until 7pm. Visit of the vineyards on Tuesday at 5pm in July and August. Open doors: 1st weekend in May. Groups (up to 50 people): guided tour + tasting by appointment. Gîte Chez le Vigneron (Gîtes de France 3 épis) for 4 people: from 250 €. Week-end : 150 €. Cleaning : 40 €.
