Domaine Moritz Prado: schist wines, contemporary cellar, vintages in jars, barrels and stainless steel and a Riesling coup de cœur to discover

After working in Burgundy, Portugal and Romania, Ghislain and Angela Moritz have settled (and dreamed) of a schist terroir between 400 and 500 meters above sea level. Their 5-hectare estate, the result of a bold move, produced its first vintage in 2018. Since 2022, they have welcomed you to a brand-new winery, where stainless steel vats, oak barrels and sandstone jars interact to produce vibrant cuvées. Special mention goes to the Riesling Coteaux du Schieferberg: a pure marvel with pear aromas that will tantalize your taste buds.
