The city center is small but lively, while the city itself is extensive and well worth exploring in depth. Ghent is also renowned for its electronic music scene, with artists such as the Glimmer Twins and the 2 Many Dj's. The city also boasts a diverse gastronomic offering, with numerous addresses to discover. One negative point is the difficulty of finding affordable accommodation, so it's advisable to book in advance, especially during festive periods.
