Every three years, this festival embellishes the city's monuments at night with animated projections.

Every 3 years, Ghent organizes a festival of light in its streets (next edition in January 2024), with light installations and performances transforming the city's monuments and buildings into a surprising setting, following the example of Lyon in France. Ghent's historic center, and in particular its most important monuments, starting with the fortified ramparts of the Castle of the Counts, provide an ideal backdrop for light animations.
