Located in the centre of Ghent, this informal and cheap hotel has 23 rooms, of which 17 with bathroom and 6 with washbasin (shower and toilet in the corridor). The kitchen, open and friendly, allows for many exchanges, both between residents and owners. If you show yourself interested, they will give you their best Gent addresses. Well maintained, family atmosphere. Certainly one of the best value for money in the city.

The room looked nothing like the pictures, it was cold and drafty. The bathroom had not been cleaned before our arrival. The toilet was full of urine stains and there were hairs on and in the sink. Holes in the drywalls and a harsh awakening at 07 one morning by the fire alarm siren. The sound isolation was non-existent. I'm sure there are better options at this pricepoint and location.

Main complain; the room does NOT look like the photos on the site.
But location is absolutely great and so is friendliness of staff.
Too expensive for the kind of room you get.
Hygiene is very basic.

Ne recommande pas cet hôtel.
Très sale, plein de moisissures, la limite d'avoir l'autorisation pour être loué, ne comprends pas... A FUIR. C'est une honte ! Ne devrait pas avoir l'autorisation d'afficher hôtel par l'Office du tourisme.
Vous n'avez pas de règles d'hygiène minimum à respecter en Belgique ?....

Hotel grazioso. Graditissimo il personale italiano. Cortesia e gentilezza. Hotel non adatto ai disabili motori, vietato in carrozzina. Se hai problemi lievi ti danno la camera al primo piano (mi sento di sconsigliato lo stesso). Scale a chiocciola molto strette e ripide. L'acqua costa molto cara in Belgio, consiglio di conservare le bottiglie vuote e riempirle dal rubinetto perché è molto buona. Se sei in salute l'hotel merita davvero.
