B&B in a beautiful 19th century house in the center of Ghent with charming rooms with African touches and a café-bar.
This centrally located B&B is housed in a beautiful 19th century house. Jurgen, the owner, has fitted out 3 large rooms full of charm with high molded ceilings and parquet floors that crackle. You will find little African touches (photos, paintings), Jurgen being a lover of the Congo (he lives there now and reforests with the locals his corner of the DRC). The big asset of the B&B? Its café-bar open from morning to evening. You can have a good breakfast there. No more availability? Kristof will find a place in the second B&B, even less expensive.

My wife and I stopped by as we were both looking for a spot to have some breakfast, and this place looked cozy. We ordered two cappuccinos and two rolls with one small slice of bacon and one fried egg. The length of time waiting for the food was exaggerated and also considering the size. My wife found a hair floating in her coffee and immediately informed the owner. The waiter admitted it was his hair, and only replaced the coffee, but charged my wife for the coffee!!!! We had also ordered another two rolls, but we had no discount!!! Very disappointed.
