Shows, tastings, tree sales... The capital of the Christmas tree celebrates every beginning of December the star tree of Morvan.

Every year, at the beginning of December, the Municipal Office of Culture of Saulieu celebrates the real star of the Morvan... the fir tree! Why precisely in Saulieu ? Because many years ago the city was named "capital of the Christmas tree". At the time, many of these trees were shipped to the Paris region by rail. Since then, the region remembers this traditional and warm festival. Tastings, various shows, and of course the sale of Christmas trees are proposed. An appointment not to be missed here!
