Museum in the form of a star covered with slate, presenting numerous events and temporary exhibitions
The bold, white building's architecture takes the form of a slate-covered star. A crack in the overall composition symbolizes the rift in the face of conflict. Highlighted by a long schist wall, it accompanies visitors towards the Mardasson. In addition to a wide range of events and temporary exhibitions, the Bastogne War Museum offers a look back at the Second World War, through the prism of the Battle of the Bulge, with three multi-sensory, 3D "scénovisions". On-site cafeteria with terrace and gift store.

Un musée comme il devrait y en avoir plus. Il a été entièrement remis au goût du jour. La visite s'effectue en suivant les commentaires de plusieurs intervenants. Un musée bien interactif et objectif. Trois heures sont bien nécessaires pour le visiter, même si, comme moi, vous n'êtes pas passionné par les guerres.

Un musée comme il faudrait en voir plus. Une scénographie parfaite, une mise en situation qui permet de bien comprendre les événements de la bataille des Ardennes. On ne voit pas le temps passer quand on y entre.

A modern museum. Audio guides that operate. Spectacular animations. Really explanatory panels. One is immersed in the BATTLE OF the ARDENNES. At the end of the esposition you did not see time to pass and you realise with surprisingly that spent nearly 4 hours. in a museum.
