Things to see and do Maaseik

The church is neo-Gothic, but the most interesting is the treasure abrite. It contains the oldest manuscript of Belgium, the Codex Eyckensis (th century), as well as the oldest Anglo-Saxon fabrics in Europe and shrines silver.

On the Grand-Place, the Museactron is a very interesting place with three museums.

The Regional Archaeological Museum has an important collection of prehistoric, Roman, medieval and modern periods; The Pharmacy Museum (the oldest in Belgium) displays lots of pots, flasks, vials, some of which are made of Delft porcelain; and the Bakery Museum.
