Information center with exhibition dedicated to the study of the High Fens, starting point for walks and winter activities

Situated at an altitude of 653 m on the high Fagnard plateau, this information centre on Belgium's largest Nature Reserve (fauna, flora, geology) is the starting point for walks, cycling and even a ride in a float. On the spot, the exhibition devoted to the study of the Hautes-Fagnes, and, an interactive educational trail (700 m) welcome all audiences and people with special needs). There is also a bookstore and a brasserie restaurant (local products, craft beers). It is also the starting point for winter activities (cross-country skiing and sledging)... when the snow is there!

Un peu de Toundra à 1h30 de Bxl
Dépaysement garanti que ces Fagnes avec un passage obligé (de préférence avant la promenade), rester 2 ou 3 jours surtout en automne ou en hiver (mais c'est perso) est une expérience qui vous restera toute votre vie. Idéalement avec un guide humain. Mention spéciale à la Croix des Fiancés, une triste et émouvante histoire.

Beau centre de documentation et point de départ de ballades intéressant. A Noël a lieu un marché de Noël sympathique et surtout en hiver le feu de bois autour duquel on peut prendre un verre. Petite restauration agréable
