At the foot of Thierenbach's magnificent basilica, after the spiritual food, let's stop off at La Ferme des Moines, an Alsatian restaurant that's anything but conventional! Children will marvel at the decor. Imagine 16 automaton monks in a period setting, albeit slightly magnified. The place is imposing in its size and decoration. You can lunch or dine here with family or friends, in a simple, friendly atmosphere. The à la carte menu features many Alsatian specialties: tarts flambées, bouchées à la reine, sauerkraut... L'ambiance: bof
Cuisine: la viande sur la pierre est très bonne.
La friture de carpe, c'est un plat trompe l'oeil. Les morceaux sont gros car la pâte est très gonflée.
En réalité il y a très peu de viande de carpe. Pour un amateur de friture de carpe ce plat est decevant à éviter.
Le prix à deux est également gonglé 92€.
Une petite coupure pendant le repas pour une histoire animée avec des automates qui est vraiment très appréciable.
La déco est top le personnel aussi.
Quant à la nourriture tout est vraiment très bon un grand choix de produits de très bonne qualité
