Wines and spirits Pernand-Vergelesses

This 20 ha estate has been perpetuating its know-how and the quality of its wines since 1879. Since 2011, Christine Gruère-Fontaine, who represents the^5th generation, is the^1st woman of the family to be at the head of the estate. In 2019, Clémentine Gruère-Dubreuil, the ^6th generation, will join the estate. Here is a remarkable palette: from Pernand-Vergelesses to the prestigious Corton Bressande, Corton Perrières and Corton Clos du Roi Grands Crus and on the white side, the Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru!

Domaine Rollin - Père et fils is a winery located in Pernand-Vergelesses. They offer a wide range of white and red wines, highlighting the diversity of the region's crus. Their wines are renowned for their balance between roundness and freshness, as well as for their expression of the complexity and minerality of Pernand Vergelesses. The domaine also offers ageing advice for their vintages, highlighting the particularities of each year.

At the head of this area whose existence dates back to the eighteenth century, Vincent Rapet exercises his talents on nearly 20 ha distributed between the municipalities of Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe-Corton, Beaune and Savigny-lès-Beaune. Sensible culture, scrapping and harvesting in green to ensure good yields, more and more labours… These are the basic rules that he applies and they pay! The house is used to medals in Paris' general agricultural competitions and is regularly welcomed by the Hachette Guide of Wines. It was particularly in white (about 40% of production) that the exploitation was named, especially with its famous Corton-Charlemagne. However, red wines also receive all the attention: Burgundy and Village, first raw wines and crus like Corton-Pougets… The range is wide and deserves a detour!

Accompanied by Valérie and Jean-Batiste, Roland and Christophe Denis operate a vineyard that has 13.5 hectares and extends today to the municipalities of Pernand-Vergelesses, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Chorey-les-Beaune. From Burgundy Aligoté to Burgundy Pasta Pass, passing through great prestigious wines such as Corton-Charlemagne and Corton "Les Paulands", the range of wines in the area is very extensive. For three generations, the family looked after the vineyards of Beaune's Hospices before Roland decided to create its own domain in the 1970 s. The wines of the field are noticed by the specialists. Thus, the guides Hachette and Dussert-Gerber highlighted in their 2017 editions the White Pernand-Vergelesses White 2014 or the first cru Vergelesses Vergelesses 2012 and 2013. Attentive care and know-how combining tradition and modernity offer lovers a rich palette of wines.
