GUIDED TOUR OF THE DAM

The tour begins with a study of the model of the lake site and the history of its impoundment, followed by a tour of the entire mechanism for holding back and raising the waters of the four electric turbines: an astonishing journey "to the center of the Earth"! Belgium's largest dam is also the only one that can be visited from the inside. Its dimensions are nothing short of impressive: a 450-metre walk through the galleries and a climb to the top of the 107-metre-high tower. Good for families, but expensive.
