Museum with documents, prints, weapons and relics, with self-guided tour, located in the heart of Waterloo
The Duke of Wellington's headquarters were housed in an old 1705 Brabant inn, a former coaching inn in the heart of Waterloo. The Duke stayed there on June 17 and 18, 1815. On the evening of the battle, he wrote his victory communiqué, which appeared in the Times of London. The course of the confrontations between the nations involved is admirably illustrated by realistic mannequins, engravings and meticulous models. To be discovered with a multilingual audioguide for adults and children, with musical commentary.
