Located near Brussels and in the heart of the valleys of Ittre and Nivelles, the golf course Château de la Tournette is regularly cited among the most beautiful golf courses in the world because it is dominated by a splendid 16th century castle. It offers three courses on a 160-hectare estate: two championship golf courses - the American and the English - and a beautiful compact course: the Orival, a 9-hole course that can be used for training or for beginners. The origins of the Dodaine Park date back to the Napoleonic era, when Jean-Baptiste Dangoneau, mayor, had the marshes bordering the town developed as a promenade. In addition to its "French-style" layout and various sculptures, the park includes a vast expanse of water where fishing is permitted. The park features an English-style garden, a sports hall, a state-of-the-art indoor swimming pool, an athletics track, hockey, basketball and tennis courts, as well as a miniature golf course and a children's playground.
