SUDAN UNDERGROUND MINE STATE PARK

It is the oldest mine in Minnesota and can be visited. You go down into the mine using the famous elevators that you see in the movies, and then you board old-fashioned wagons that wind through the bowels of the mine. For safety reasons, a helmet will be given to you at the beginning of the visit. Bring sweaters in summer, it is always the same temperature, 15 °C all year round. The guided tour is accessible to all. Avoid if you are claustrophobic!
