This church, dated 1630, is located opposite Perast on an artificial islet built of stones piled up around a reef. Originally a simple chapel, it was enlarged in 1725 with the construction of an imposing sanctuary recognizable by its octagonal dome. All around the capitals inside the church, you can admire nearly 2,500 small silver squares, each decorated in an original way: it is the sailors who, on their return from a sea trip, used to engrave an ex-voto with their name on it to thank Our Lady of Rocks for having spared them the misfortunes of the sea. This escapade in the middle of the Boka is worth it, both for the beauty of a unique site and for the evocation of the many stories of sailors by the guides gravitating around the church.

In summer, a few boats regularly shuttle between the island and Perast. For reasons of profitability, the owners of these boats only accept groups. It is therefore preferable, in order to be sure that you can visit the island, to arrive in the middle of the morning or early afternoon (i.e. when tourist buses are most likely to arrive). Count 5 € for the round trip crossing. Church open every day from 7am to 7pm.

un très bel endroit, la vue la plus jolie est depuis le villager de Perast,ou en altitude si,vous empruntez les routes en direction de herceg novi ou niksic. On peut egalement y aller en bateau taxi, mais c'est assez tréquenté

Joko ne semble plus être là, mais Dragan un jeune garçon qui n'a pas encore 20 ans propose ses services sur Originalité assurée : sa petite embarcation, sans bouée ni gilets de sauvetage, vous emmène au ras des flots avec quelques giclées d'eau de mer autour des 2 îles. Dragan laisse les enfants piloter le bâteau! N'hésitez pas!
