PLAGE DE YANLIAO

At kilometre 99, Yanliao is located between the Shihtung River in the north and Fulong River in the south. The city has a sandy beach of the same name, the largest in Taiwan. Like the other bays, it is equipped with a swimming pool, a children's play area, a few restaurants for snacks, etc. In addition to the supervised swimming area, the beach park has a monument commemorating resistance to Japanese occupation, built in 1975, but of little interest. To avoid crowds, it is best to go during the week.
