A traditional home cooking with an excellent quality-price ratio in a typical restaurant with walls classified as Monument de France.

A typical restaurant that we love, with its listed mural. When it comes to cuisine, you won't be disappointed. Christophe Dumay is busy in the kitchen with his tuna tataki with sesame seeds, piquillo and red onion, his Frères Plançon farm egg in a Crémant de Bourgogne meurette with baby onions and bacon, and his chocolate Île flottante with caramelized pistachios. Michel Philippon is in charge of the wines. The daily menu is full of fine references to our regions. Excellent value for money. Conviviality and a lovely terrace.

Vignobles et Découvertes. Open all year round. Tuesday to Saturday lunchtime; Friday and Saturday evenings. Exceptional opening on the first Sunday of each month, for lunch. Open on Thursday evening only with prior reservation. Menus from 33 € to 41 €. A la carte menu: about 40 €. Children's menu : 11 € (under 10 years old). Lunch formula : 16 € (two courses or 20 € for the complete formula). Vacation vouchers, Restaurant vouchers. Groups welcome. Terrace. Take away sale.

Owner's Message

The oldest café in Burgundy was founded around 1830. At that time, it was called 'Le relais du soldat de Napoléon' (Napoleon's soldier's relay), over time it became 'Le café du rocher' (The Rock Café) and today 'La Table du Rocher' (The Rock Table). The place is surprising for its original setting and wall paintings, created by a tavern keeper in homage to his Emperor.
We welcome you in this place full of history to share a convivial and greedy moment around a traditional cooking, that is between friends, colleagues, business meals or family. Dishes to take away. On sunny days, you can enjoy a very nice and discreet terrace.

Un des plus vieux restaurants de France, nous avons mangés entrée-Plat-dessert pour seulement 21 euros. De plus c'est des plats fait maisons ????. A venir découvrir pour connaître l'histoire de ce restaurant classé aux monuments historiques.

Pour fêter l'anniversaire de ma femme, j'ai réservé dans ce restaurant. Nous avons été conquis. Un accueil chaleureux, le personnel super sympathique, les menus délicieux, un grand choix de vins à la bouteille ou au verre. Un grand merci pour la réalisation du gâteau ???? poire-chocolat qui clôtura notre dîner.
Quant au prix, je vous assure, c'est très très raisonnable étant donné la qualité des mets.
Je vous invite à y aller et de vous régalez dans un cadre magnifique, classé au patrimoine.
