The Volcanoes Museum is housed in the Parc Nou, in the Torre Castanys, a modernist building by Josep Fontserè i Mestre, also known for the Parc de la Ciudadella and the Born market in Barcelona. The permanent exhibition focuses on the presentation of the physical environment of La Garrotxa, focusing on seismic and volcanic phenomena and the main ecosystems of the region. Everything is presented in an entertaining way. A small earthquake simulator has even been installed. And a short video to complete the presentation.
