A very economical youth hostel in a beautiful setting away from the old town of Olot.

This youth hostel of the Xanascat network is located in a beautiful building from the end of the 19th century, the Malagrida Eixample tower, a little out of the old centre of Olot, but on the promenade to the modernist houses that leads to it. Another advantage of this hostel is that it is surrounded by extensive gardens. The interior combines authentic Art Nouveau style rooms with modern and functional furniture. With dormitories of 4, 6, 9 and 10 beds, clean and very economical.

Nos ha gustado mucho nuestra estancia. El personal es genial. Tanto las mujeres del comedor como el chico de la recepción, super majos y atentos. Las habitaciones están bien, como el resto del albergues de Xanascat. Y la comida, para no ser de cocina propia, muy buena. Hay ensalada y fruta en todas las comidas, postres la Fageda y dulces sin azúcar en el desayuno. Si que es verdad que el agua de la ducha sale más bien templada y para los peques, puede hacer algo de frío en invierno. Pero el alojamiento es bonito y acogedor, rodeado de un jardín y muy bien situado. Al lado de parques y cerca de actividades. Además, la sala de juegos de niños tiene de todo. Sin duda repetiremos.
