Nice curved sandy beach that offers safe swimming all year round in Hanapepe.
Nice curved sandy beach. Safe swimming all year round. Very good spot for body-boarding and windsurfing. First aid station and showers on site. The place is ideal for long walks on the beach, for whale watching and for sunsets. Camping with permit. The beach owes its name to the salt marshes located at its eastern end, which are still used by the locals to get salt. Please note that the salt harvest is reserved for them, so do not venture out unless you are invited.

Une petite plage en arc de cercle avec beaucoup de charme, commodités à disposition sur cette aire : toilettes, douche en plein air sur la plage, abri et tables de pique nique. Ideal pour une fin d'après midi farniente !

D'un côté une plage très mignonne surveillée, sable blanc, quelques zones d'ombres sous les cocotiers, de l'autre l'étang salé. Au milieu, possibilité de camper (moins cher avec permis 3$ par personne ; sans permis un ranger vous réveille pour payer 5$ par personne), ambiance détendue, quelques sans abris traînent au camping sans embêter personne, barbecue, tables, toilettes, eau potable et douche de plage. Couchers de soleil magnifiques.
