BELLA COOLA MUSEUM

The Bella Coola Museum teaches us about the city's rich past, from the First Nations to the explorers and pioneers of the region. The site was discovered by a certain Alexander Mackenzie on July 22, 1793, and the Norwegians who had invested in it developed the fishery there. A beautiful collection of old photos and artifacts from the logging and fishing era and the years that followed. Guided tours are organized in the museum and invite you to discover in depth the fastidious eras of Bella Coola.
