A breathtaking natural sight in Haute-Savoie, classified as a National Heritage Site by the Chablais Geopark!
Classified as a Chablais Geopark National Heritage Site, the Gorges du Pont du Diable is one of Haute-Savoie's must-see attractions. A natural curiosity with a breathtaking spectacle, it begins by crossing a forest of beech trees to arrive 70 m and a few steps below at the entrance to the gorges. An impressive gorge, partly underground, carved out by the Dranse de Morzine and traversed by ramps or stairways anchored in the rock. The Dranse flows 50 m beneath our feet, at the bottom of a veritable chasm... A breathtaking spectacle! The force of the torrent's whirlpools has created a work of art of magnificent colors, sculpted shapes and giant cauldrons. The highlight of the show is the Pont du Diable (Devil's Bridge): following a huge landslide that blocked the site, an imposing boulder stabilized itself more than 30 m above the torrent, creating a kind of arch. A tip from the Futé: a visit around 10 a.m. is the most spectacular, with the sun's rays magnifying and making all the colors of the gorge sparkle. Perfectly maintained and secure, the site and its surroundings offer the best conditions for enjoying an open-air spectacle. The "Pas du Diable" (Devil's Step) is a real glass masterpiece for thrills and spills! Souvenir store and top-quality local produce! Certes le site est magnifique mais le prix du billet est exorbitant ???? pour au final une visite de tout le site en 1h grand maximum ????
Le prix du billet n'est pas du tout justifié à part payer les investissements de marches et passerelles construites par hélitreuillage mais qui selon moi suffit pas pour justifier ce prix !
Le site dispose de quizz mais sinon rien d'autre...
Quasiment aucun personnel et peu d'électricité à payer donc le prix n'est pas justifié...
Je ne recommande pas ce site, trop court, trop cher, très vite oublié enfin le jeu n'en vaut pas la chandelle quoi !!
Ps : aller au barage du Jotty à 10min à pied et gratuitement est beaucoup plus rentable ????
