A peaceful village built on the banks of the river of the same name, where sugar cane is the main crop. Nearby, there is a group of Hindu temples, at Wailailai to be precise, which are well worth a visit. The main attraction of this village lies in its location: it's from Ba that you head for the village of Navala, reputed to be the most authentic on the island. Navala is also the capital of one of the island's 14 provinces, which bears its name. It is the country's most populous province and the second largest in terms of surface area.
