This one-of-a-kind park dedicated to deciduous forests offers hikes, art workshops and more. In 2025, it celebrates its 5th anniversary.
The Parc national de forêts is the only French national park dedicated to lowland hardwood forests. Like the other 10 national parks, its mission is to preserve and enhance the natural and cultural heritage of its territory. Founded in November 2019, the National Forest Park invites nature lovers to a wide range of events. Soft mobility hikes, craft workshops, animal watching, events to raise awareness of local flora and fauna and art exhibitions are all on the program for 2025.

Open all year round. Free admission. National Forest Park staff are on hand Monday to Friday, 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm.On the program in 2025: cultural events, craft courses, forest animal observation workshops, discovery of local flora or art exhibitions. The GR de Pays "Chemin de la Belle Étoile - Tour du Parc national de forêts" is currently being finalized. 230 km of signposted trails form a loop for exploring the area at nature's pace.
