The hotel is a good stopover before visiting Akagera Park, especially for lunch. A popular lunch buffet, still well-stocked after 1:30pm. On the menu, you'll always find "sourire Dereva", a skewer of pineapple, sausage, tomato and pilipili, as well as fajita beef and Rwandan dishes. Dinner to order. The rooms, like little pavilions set in a large garden, offer decent comfort, with air-conditioning, TV and a small private terrace. The swimming pool area adds a very pleasant plus to the whole.

Hotel Dereva is located in Rwamagana District, just a 50-minute drive from Kigali City and a 30-minute drive from Akagera National Park. It offers 78 modern and fully equipped rooms. The hotel also has a restaurant-bar that offers cold drinks and dishes inspired by the flavors of the world. Moreover, Hotel Dereva is an ideal place to organize a conference from 10 to 250 people. It can also host events such as a product launch or training.

Swimming pool and common place (restaurant etc ) are good
The room is not worthy ! It could be cleaner and everything is very old and falling appart especially the bathroom (it is the same I expect when I pay 13 $)
