Gite in the middle of nowhere in Le Brûlé with rooms for 2 persons with fitted varangues.

It's a gîte lost in the middle of nowhere halfway between the villages of Dos-d'Âne and Le Brûlé, but if you decide to do La Roche-Ecrite over 2 days, a night here is a must! Renovated in 2015, it can accommodate up to 30 people, in a dormitory or in one of the three double bedrooms. The comfort remains basic, without heating or hot water. Varangues have been set up in front of the rooms to enjoy the landscape after a day's walk.

Le cadre est magnifique. Les propriétaires sont très gentils. L'endroit est superbe. Les chambres "bof". Le repas copieux mais nous avons tous été incommodés durant la nuit. Nous avons séjourné le 18/9/2017 et il n'y avait toujours pas d'eau chaude dans les douches.

Environnement et cadre pleine nature. chants des oiseaux...
Très bon accueil avec le sourire fait par un jeune homme. les chambres sont propre (avec couvertures), par contre les panneaux solaires méritent un entretien car l'eau n'est vraiment pas chaude. Apéritif offert. Sourire, amabilité et discussion. On sent vraiment une volonté de bien accueillir. Agréable séjour.

Disappointing renovation. Shaking beds, showers poorly designed (= dipped business) and especially not cold water while the season is very sunny and that was only 7 hikers! Meal very salty.
Positive points: very friendly welcome, pretty site, sheets OK.

Tres mal accueuillie par les giteurs, boisson cher et pas moyens de consommer avant 18h30, pas de chauffage , pas d eau chaude et pas de cheminée allumer, dommage car le site merite bien mieux.
