110 km beach, 30 minutes south of Denham, made up of tiny shells and clear, very salty, shallow water.
50 min north of Hamelin Pool and 30 min south of Denham, a stop at Shell Beach is a must. This 110 km-long beach is made up of tiny shells, sometimes stacked up to 10 m thick. The water is clear, very salty and shallow for around 100 m. Try floating in it. Try floating in it. The salinity of the water limits marine life and therefore the presence of predators for Fragum cockle, the shellfish that abounds on the beach. A great time for everyone.

A ne surtout pas rater si vous êtes dans le coin ! Cette plage n'est pas faite de sable mais de millions de coquillages!!! L'eau y est claire, idéal pour la baignade !
Million shells! A rather unique place next to Hamelin Pool, the buildings use even the shells for brick!
