A beautiful example of an old house, a typical house that houses a folklore exhibition open in summer only in Keflavik
Here you can admire a beautiful example of an old house, a typical 19th century fisherman's house with a peat roof. The oldest part of the house dates back to the 19th century. This historic site has been open to the public since 1993 and is accessible free of charge on request. There is also a folklore exhibition open only in summer. There is also a car park next door where you can park nearby. Right next door is a church made of grey stone from the coastline. A good break on the way to the capital.
