Framed by Cape Dolos to the south, a naval base and the Vasilikos power station to the north, this beach of black sand and pebbles stretches for 500 meters beneath white cliffs. It has become a seaside resort with hotels, villas, restaurants and a campsite. It owes its name to the British governors who used to spend time here.
