Here's a fun little activity for the whole family. This historic line, inaugurated in the 1950s to transport timber, now offers a 4 km round trip between Kaszó and Baláta for tourists, in 40 minutes at 15 kph. Departure is from a charming wooden station in the heart of the village. At the end of the route, there are paths to explore the Baláta Lake nature reserve, a protected area rich in flora and fauna, perfect for a nature walk.
