Built in 1900, the Al Khor tower dominates the city's port. The eponymous fort built at the same time was a police station, then a prison. Today it is a museum overlooking the waterfront. From the second floor, you have a beautiful view. There is a beautiful presentation of the archaeological findings of the al-Khor region and the ancient customs. A space is reserved for the explanation of the history of traditional fishing, diving for pearls and the construction of traditional dhows, the specialty of Al-Khor.
