She is an iconic character of the Souq Waqif: Shams is an old Qatari lady (the only one in the whole souk) who comes every morning to prepare authentic breakfasts, for locals as well as for curious tourists. A "sunshine" whose modest store (not easy to find, ask for directions) is lined with photos of celebrities who have already passed through. Let yourself be guided for the pictures, because the gustatory change of scenery is total. The store also sells spices to cook at home. In the evening, you can have dinner on the go.
