While Nogatsaa is probably the least visited section of Chobe National Park, it is also the least developed. It has no public camping facilities. Only tour operator sites are available. It is advisable to go there on your own. Landscape of vast open plains and forests of mopane, it is characterized especially by its interesting complex of pans. These, more than a dozen in total, keep the rainwater often late in winter. This phenomenon generally attracts a large concentration of animals over a longer period of the year compared to the rest of Chobe. The scenery here is less spectacular than in other sections of the park. Although the wildlife is well represented, it is the same as in the other sections. One can observe among others herds of elephants, buffalos and different species of antelopes such as eland, roan and oryx. Thus, as with Linyanti, this section is best suited to the more curious in search of seclusion. A word of advice: the best way to observe the wildlife is to wait at the waterholes. Sometimes these watering holes are artificially made of artificial pumps on some sections! The oribi, a small discreet antelope, is particularly present there.
