River Front, meaning "the banks of Chobe", is the area of the park between the river itself and the tarmac road that connects Kasane-Sidudu Gate to Ngoma Gate. It is distinguished from the western part, Ihaha, and the eastern part, Serondela, which is the flagship section of Chobe National Park. It is close enough to Kasane to be easily accessible from there. This section can be reached by two means of transport: 4WD or boat. The traveler will then settle in Kasane, in one of its lodges, hotels or campsites. As for the visit of Ihaha, similar to that of Savute, one carries out game drives along the river or in the riparian forest, rich in wildlife. There are no lodges in this area, only a well-equipped public campground and several sites reserved for tour operators. For the Chobe River cruises, departures are organized from Kasane itself and one enters the park from the river. The landscapes of the great Chobe floodplains are of great beauty and approaching the wildlife from the river is a great privilege. For the game drives, the tracks are very well laid out, but a bit sandy in places.
