Founded in 1928, the Viticole wine union consists of no fewer than 110 wine growers from Gevrey Chambertin, about 240 of whom are on Brochon and members, with plots of land on the land of the commune. A small Reminder, the vineyard of Gevrey Chambertin stretches over 600 ha and includes 9 Grands Crus and 27 Ers Crus. The president, Jean-Michel Guillon and his members organize, each year the feast of King Chambertin, an appointment for wine professionals who come to discover about 300 Gevrey of the last vintage put in bottle. This meeting takes place on the Thursday before the sale of the wines of Beaune, one in two on the Saturday following the event is aimed at the general public with tastings and sales of lots consisting of Villages, 1 ers Crus and Grands Crus for the benefit of a charity association.
